Eligibility for UG Law Courses:

  • Must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Minimum aggregate marks generally range from 45% to 50% for General category candidates (relaxation may be available for reserved categories as per institutional norms).
  • Candidates from any stream (Arts, Commerce, or Science) are eligible for most integrated law programs.
  • Admission is often based on entrance examinations, such as the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), or university-specific entrance tests.
  • There is generally no upper age limit, subject to the rules of the respective institution.

Eligibility for PG Law Courses:

  • Must have completed an LL.B. degree (3-year or 5-year integrated law program) from a recognized university.
  • Minimum aggregate marks generally range from 50% to 55% for General category candidates (relaxation may be available for reserved categories as per institutional norms).
  • Admission may be based on entrance examinations, such as the Common Law Admission Test for Postgraduate Programs (CLAT-PG), university-specific entrance tests, or merit-based selection.
  • Candidates in the final year of their LL.B. program may also be eligible to apply, subject to fulfilling degree requirements before admission.
  • Additional eligibility requirements may apply for specialized PG diploma or certificate courses.
