The Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies is a two-year program for those interested in the study of religion at the graduate level. Objective:

The MA Buddhist Studies curriculum allows students to delve deeply into the religion by learning about its origins, canonical writings, and contemporary practices. The curriculum is also a great stepping stone to graduate school or a career in the nonprofit or religious sphere.

Graduate students are able to hone their analytical skills, put their learning to practical use, and investigate underlying ethical ideas. The goals of the course are to stimulate analytical thought and practical knowledge.

Bachelor's degree: You must have completed a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Minimum marks: Most universities require 45%–55% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.

Online/distance Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies eligibility criteria are too very flexible. To pursue an online and distance MA Buddhist Studies one has to be graduate from any recognised university. There are no entrance examinations for admission in this course.
